In the last two days, the paperwork on my desk (and its a big desk, it used to be used for drafting) has increased like two rabbits left alone in the dark. In my office, we are being asked to take on more responsibility for our projects, which, for me, means less designing and more paperwork. I figure it must be part of advancement in my chosen career and everything, but at the cost of loosing so much of my time for creativity, it makes me question its worth. I don't know that it would be any better anywhere else, but I can guarantee this is something they NEVER covered in school!
I'm thinking a premature (i.e. pre-Friday) trip to the pub might be in order.
