Class of '89- GO FALCONS!
1. Who was your best friend? Mike, Pete (died, '90), Derick (died, '98)
2. What sports did you play? Soccer & Hockey (not for school), intramural-coed volleyball, ran Track
3. What kind of car did you drive? A Jeep Cherokee Chief, when I could borrow it from the mom.
4. It's Friday nite.....where are you? Probably working at our neighbor's Italian restaurant
5. Were you a party animal? Not even close!
6 Were you considered a flirt? Almost to a fault (still am!)
7. Were you in band, orchestra, or choir? Not enough time by high school
8. Were you a nerd? Could "run with" them, if needed.......not really exclusive to one clique or the other
9. Did you get suspended/expelled? Never even had detention, but not for lack of trying, for lack of getting caught.
10. Can you sing the fight song? Nope, but upon trying to "Google" it- found a Food Fight on YouTube(and yes, that for sure is my Alma matter)- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_RLcdyGAHIQ
11. Who were your favorite teachers? Mr. Craig, hands down- coach and graphic arts teacher, before the program got cut
12. Where did you sit during lunch? Spent any sunny day outside, on the back lawn
13.What was your school's full name? Robbinsdale Armstrong Senior High School (changed after Robbinsdale High closed and consolidated, used to be Neil A. Armstrong, after the astronaut)
14. School mascot? Falcons
15. Did you go to Prom? regretfully, yes....but with the "wrong" date...mine was dating someone else and dumped me right after the dance.......found out later the girl who WANTED to go with me (and I really wanted to go with more anyway) didn't go at all.
16. If you could go back and do it again, would you? Yes.....I would have applied myself more to get better grades so I could have had MORE fun by the time I got to college. That....and I would have asked the other girl to the Prom
17. What do you remember most about graduation? Pretty much being there by myself and not getting a photo because the line got too long.
18. Where did you go senior skip day? Which one? The park reserve at Lake Independence. Played some volleyball....got a MAJOR sunburn
20.Were you in any clubs? Not that I can remember.
21. Where did you go most often for lunch? Subway was the closest to the school, but mostly stayed put
22. Have you gained some weight since then? A bit- mostly in my hair (had a mullet (played hockey), now all one length), had a beard for the 15 year reunion, if that counts
25. Who was your Senior prom date? Her name was Robin......turned out that at her school everyone called her "Bobbin Robin"- won't even touch that one.
26. Are you planning on going to your 10 year reunion? Actually, I'm over 1/2 way to the 20th (Yikes!) Went to the 10, it was OK, spent most of the time keeping my best friends girlfriend company, as he was being the "social butterfly" and chose not to introduce her around. And, of course, spend the first 15 min. conversing with "that girl", the one I should have gone to Prom with- that was were I found out she really wanted me to ask her.
27. Who was your home room teacher? Mr. Thorson- who was a teacher in the Science department

29. Who was your high school sweetheart? Never dated anyone long enough to qualify for that title.
30. Do you still talk to people from high school? Nope.....and it's a crying shame, in my opinion
31. Who did you have the hots for that you would have NEVER admitted to anyone? The girl who lived down at the end of my block.....she was a year younger than me, and I had known her since she wore pigtails
32. What did you think you would be when you grew up? I am what I always wanted to be, but had hoped to be "more accomplished" by this point
33. What was your favorite fashion purchase? My bright blue. long sleeved Coca-cola shirt with the white band in the middle, and red logo lettering. Also matched my school colors.
